Jarvis is a lifelong resident of Texas Senate District 15. He has raised his family here, served as a Houston City Council member and since 2016 has been a member of the Texas House of Representatives.
While the Texas Legislature underfunded the public education system, I passed bills to expand vocational education to prepare our children for the ever-changing workforce. As a member of the budget-writing committee, he secured millions of additional dollars for public schools & Colleges.
